Aaron: I know a lot of work has been done to get to this point in the project. What is the latest update on the building project?
*Pastor Dave: We have been cutting through cement, channeling through the parking lot to run power, phone, and fiber optics to the new building.
The exterior walls of the building are starting to go up and the sidewalk has been poured.
We have worked through some roof warranty issues and the building committee has voted on recommendations to keep loan borrowing to a minimum.
Aaron: Is there a period of time when more help will be needed? Will someone be contacting men for volunteer help?
*Pastor Dave: We will need help with making and setting the trusses, putting the sheeting on trusses, and interior work such as framing and drywall.
Much of this work will be done with volunteer labor and should begin in early November.
The trustees and Andy Bowers will be contacting the men through the church office.

Aaron: What would you like to say to the men of the church regarding the building project?
*Pastor Dave: Come on guys, it’s time to buckle up and get ready to help. It’s easier to work in cooler weather.
The holidays will possibly pose a challenge to some but others will have more time. I am looking forward, if the project continues going well and we can get help like we did for the playground, to possibly completing the project by the end of January.
