Internal Purpose Statement
The purpose of Ministry to Men of First Baptist Church of Nogales is to lead the men of our church to become disciples – men who are called to walk with Christ, equipped to live like Christ, and sent to work for Christ. (2 Tim 3:15-17)
Our Priority is the process of discipleship. This means working with men where they are at, in whatever venue works for those individuals, providing them with the opportunities to grow into a follower of Jesus Christ, and who are being equipped to contribute to the body of Christ and do so.
Our Strategy is to use the body of Christ, within the boundaries of its current leadership and structure, to accomplish our purpose as a Ministry to Men. This will be done through the already established ministries of the church, like, small groups, care groups, Sunday school, Sunday services and events. Beyond that we are learners looking at the possibility of starting and or supporting any ministry for which we have the resources and that would accomplish any aspect of our purpose statement. We are aware of our individual and corporate roles and responsibilities.
